<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Exposure to ionizing radiation causes significant functional changes in human cells which lead to activation of various signaling pathways and transcriptional response of many genes. The magnitude of these changes is variable for different individuals, making the phenomenon of individual radiosensitivity. In the review, markers of individual radiosensitivity are described ranging from cytogenetic markers for assessing the efficiency of DNA repair of radiation-induced damage in cells to genome- and transcriptome-wide approaches to identify differentially expressed genes that determine various aspects of response to radiation exposure.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>биомаркеры</kwd><kwd>индивидуальная радиочувствительность</kwd><kwd>хромосомные аберрации</kwd><kwd>микроядра</kwd><kwd>фокусы gH2AX</kwd><kwd>экспрессия генов</kwd><kwd>biomarkers</kwd><kwd>individual radiosensitivity</kwd><kwd>chromosome aberrations</kwd><kwd>micronuclei</kwd><kwd>gH2AX foci</kwd><kwd>gene expression</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Barber JB, Burrill W, Spreadborough AR, et al.
