Исследованы rs7496, rs17614871, rs12524274, rs316133 и rs2274760 гена GSTA4. Не выявлено статистически значимых ассоциаций данных вариантов с предрасположенностью к болезни, как при сопоставлении общих групп, так и групп, стратифицированных по полу (p &gt; 0,05). Однако выявлен гаплотип GSTA4 CACCG, который ассоциировался с пониженным риском развития псориаза у мужчин (pperm = 0,004). Хотя исследованные варианты гена GSTA4 не обладают индивидуальными эффектами на риск развития псориаза, тем не менее относительно редкий гаплотип редкий CACCG обладал протективным эффектом в отношении риска развития болезни.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   The aim of this pilot study was to investigate the associations between polymorphic variants of the GSTA4 gene and the risk of psoriasis.</p><p>   The study involved 474 patients with psoriasis and 470 controls, whose DNA samples were genotyped for the variants rs7496, rs17614871, rs12524274, rs316133, and rs2274760 of the GSTA4 gene using the MassArray-4 system. No statistically significant associations were found between these variants and the predisposition to the disease, either when comparing the overall groups or when stratifying by sex (p &gt; 0.05). However, the GSTA4 CACCG haplotype was identified, which was associated with a decreased risk of psoriasis in men (pperm = 0.004).
