Показано, что мутагены формальдегид, азид натрия и бихромат калия вызывают нарушения в структурах белков, что было зарегистрировано по люминесценции биосенсоров на основе штамма E. coli K12 MG1655, люминесцирующих в ответ на появление в клетке белков с нарушенной структурой.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Heat shock proteins, which perform the functions of chaperones, contribute to the process of de novo folding of synthesized proteins and refolding of denatured proteins.
