Целью исследования было изучение ассоциации полиморфизма +1675G&gt;A гена AGTR2 ( rs1403543 ) с риском развития ишемического инсульта (ИИ) на фоне артериальной гипертензии у русских жителей Центрального Черноземья. Материалом для исследования послужили 717 образцов ДНК: 414 пациентов с ИИ и 303 относительно здоровых индивидов соответствующего пола и возраста с нормальным уровнем артериального давления (АД). Генотипирование полиморфизма +1675G&gt;A проводили методом аллельной дискриминации с помощью TaqMan-зондов. При стратифицированном анализе установлено, что гомозиготный генотип +1675AA ассоциирован с повышенным риском развития ИИ у женщин (OR = 2,09, 95%CI = 1,20-3,62; p = 0,01). При этом носительство гетерозиготного генотипа +1675GA ассоциировано с пониженным риском возникновения ИИ (OR = 0,49, 95%CI = 0,31-0,78; p = 0,002). Таким образом, в исследовании обнаружена ассоциация полиморфизма +1675G&gt;A гена AGTR2 с развитием ИИ у женщин Центрального Черноземья.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The renin-angiotensin system is a major regulator of blood pressure. The aim of this study was to investigate the association of polymorphisms +1675G&gt;A (rs1403543) of AGTR2 gene with the risk of ischemic stroke (IS) in the population of Central Russia. We studied DNA samples obtained from 717 subjects, including 414 IS patients and 303 sex- and age-matched healthy individuals. The polymorphisms were genotyped by polymerase chain reaction TaqMan allele discrimination (+1675G&gt;A) assays. The gender-stratified analysis showed that +1675AA genotype associated with an increased risk of ischemic stroke in women (OR = 2,09; 95%CI 1,20-3,62, p = 0,01) while the heterozygous +1675GA genotype associated with a reduced risk of IS (OR = 0,49 95% CI from 0,31-0,78; p = 0.002).
