В работе обнаружена выраженная отрицательная корреляция между маркерами повреждения ДНК лимфоцитов крови (маркер окисления 8-oxodG, маркер двунитевых разрывов γH2AX) и содержанием повтора - субфракции сателлита III (f-SatIII), локализованного в прицентромерном гетерохроматине 1q12) в выборке больных шизофренией в стадии обострения (N = 97). Низкое содержание повтора f-SatIII в ДНК лейкоцитов больных можно рассматривать в качестве потенциального маркера уровня хронического окислительного стресса и повреждения ДНК при шизофрении.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Schizophrenia is a multifactorial disease resulting from genetic disorders and unfavorable conditions of embryonic development and later life. The study revealed a pronounced negative correlation between markers of DNA damage in blood lymphocytes (oxidation marker 8-oxodG, double-strand break marker γH2AX) and the repeat content - satellite III subfraction (located in pericentromeric heterochromatin 1q12) in a sample of patients with schizophrenia in the acute stage (N = 97).
