<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review discusses the relationship of genetic markers and nutrients regarding their importance for the development of common diseases. The article gives examples of genetically determined individual differences in the level of a number of nutrients; involvement of nutrients in the metabolic pathways (particularly in folate-dependent one-carbon metabolism pathway) and in the function of different genes; as well as data on associations of nutrients and genes involved in their regulation with diseases of multifactorial nature.</p>
<title> </title><p> </p>
<title> </title><p> </p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гены</kwd><kwd>нутриенты</kwd><kwd>генетические ассоциации</kwd><kwd>нутригеномика</kwd><kwd>многофакторные заболевания</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>genes</kwd><kwd>nutrients</kwd><kwd>genetic association</kwd><kwd>nutrigenomics</kwd><kwd>common diseases</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">10 ведущих причин смерти в мире // Информационный бюллетень.
